Encouraged by Pentecost: Upholding the vision of a just and nonviolent world
Wethen, 01 June 2023. At its recent meeting, the Board of Church and Peace noted with disappointment that the G7 summit in Hiroshima had missed the opportunity to take a decisive stand for nuclear disarmament at this historic site. Encouraged by Pentecost, the Board calls on churches and religious communities to keep alive the vision of a just and nonviolent world.
